Berkeley loves storytelling and the team there is always investigating and analysing the subject. There is a phrase that I’m sure all of you will have either said or heard at some point in your career: A picture paints a thousand words.

Officially attributed to a man called Frederick R. Barnard who wrote about the effectiveness of graphics in advertising, way back in 1921, Barnard’s article was called “One look is worth a thousand words”. 
 
Nearly 100 years later, the power of an image has never been more effective in business. 
 
To help illustrate this, the creative team at Berkeley created the following infographic which I thought was rather good. Enjoy.
