Looking for a German tech PR agency? – Berkeley Kommunikation

Written by Paul Stallard

Berkeley Kommunikation – Paul Stallard & Chris Hewitt

Yesterday was a proud day as Berkeley officially announced the acquisition of the assets of German PR agency Essential Media and formed Berkeley Kommunikation GmbH in Munich.

For the past six months this has been a major focus. There have been some highs and lows along the way but it has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my working life. Having been tasked with growing Berkeley’s international footprint back in January, Germany, with its strong economy, was the ideal choice to start growing our international footprint. I’m delighted that we have achieved our goal within six months.

Having overseen the acquisition, I have now become the Geschaftsfurhrer of Berkeley Kommunikation and my responsibilities will include overseeing client strategy, agency growth and driving new services in the DACH region. Could be interesting as I speak very little German. Let the crash course begin! Over the next few weeks I will begin to share some posts about some of the things I have learnt from the experience to date and will continue to learn. But for the time being, please just indulge me and let me enjoy the fact that the first of our international acquisitions has been completed and Berkeley now has a fully owned tech PR agency in Munich, one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

But also, I can now legitimately attend the Oktoberfest each year without feeling guilty.

So, if you are looking for a German tech PR agency, love storytelling as an approach to your communications, then look no further than Berkeley Kommunikation.
